Vicki Oliver of Indah Imports at 6406 Bruce Street,
604 912 0277 www.indah-imports.com
is collecting school supplies and cash donations for the Laplapan Village School
in Ubud, Bali.
Last year they used the cash donations to buy much-needed sporting equipment for the children.
They are currently collecting new and used school supplies (including blank exercise books, picture books, pencils and crayons) for the 200+ 5-12 year old students of this small village.
In a country where the average monthly wage is just $90, supplying children with uniforms and supplies can be difficult, but with your help these children will be provided with the things that they need to build themselves a better tomorrow. If you have any new or used school supplies to donate, please bring them to Indah Imports before May 20th!
Horseshoe Bay still has a Presence.
Presence Gallery and Gifts Shop has now moved to their new location at 6367 Bruce Street, next to Flour Bakery. Drop in for a visit!
The Rotary Ride for Rescue "Cypress Mountain Hill Climb" will be held on Saturday June 9th. This event is to raise funds for North Shore Rescue and Rotary projects:
