Why
Citroen?
I
guess that like most children I was fascinated
with different methods of Transportation. Cars
were a favourite of course and a trip to Switzerland
introduced me to many new types.
I
went home with a Dinky Toy Citroen Traction
Avant and a Citroen 2CV, vowing that some day
I would own the real things. Well as time passed
I was lucky enough to own and enjoy 13 two
cylinder Citroens, including various vans and
an Ami Wagon. Plus there were four DS models
and a 1939 Traction Avant like the one I saw
in Interlaken. I still own this car and it
sits alongside my remaining 2CV.
There
is still room in the garage for a Traction
Avant Convertible if you happen to have a spare
one you don’t need and a Citroen “H
Van” camper would be quite at home under
the magnolia tree!
Having
been involved in Citroen Clubs and activities
since the early 1970’s I’m just
as happy to talk about old cars as Real Estate,
sometimes even both!
